SummAI ("we", "our", or "the app") is built on a simple principle — your content never leaves your device. We designed SummAI to summarize text, documents, audio, and video entirely on-device using Apple's on-device AI framework.
🔒 SummAI does not operate any servers. Your text, files, or media are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored externally.
We collect the absolute minimum. Here's the full picture:
SummAI offers a Premium subscription for unlimited access. All billing, payment processing, and subscription management is handled exclusively by Apple via the App Store.
We never see, store, or process your payment card details. To manage or cancel your subscription, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
For refund requests, visit reportaproblem.apple.com — Apple handles all refunds directly.
SummAI uses an on-device language model (downloaded once on first launch) to generate summaries. The model runs entirely within the app sandbox using Apple's MLX framework.
The only third-party platform SummAI interacts with is Apple — for App Store distribution, in-app purchases, and optional crash reporting. We do not integrate with any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social SDKs.
Apple's privacy practices are governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
SummAI does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The app does not collect personal data from any user, regardless of age.
